For us, that universe began in a small shop in Ankara, Turkey, and has been growing for over three decades. 1990: The Grandfather's Dream

Our story begins in 1990 with a simple idea from our grandfather: to find and share the most beautiful beads he could. In the early years, that's all we were—a humble bead shop, a place of discovery for local artisans. He built our foundation on a simple belief: quality and variety are the heart of all creativity.

The Father's Vision: From Beads to Designs

The second generation, our father, saw a new possibility. Why just sell the ingredients? Why not create the masterpiece? We began designing our own jewelry, first crafted by our own family's hands. As our collection of beads and supplies grew, so did our designs. We started partnering with a few local housewives, turning our designs into reality and beginning our journey into wholesale.

The Heart of My'Beads: A Community of 400 Families

This is the part of our story we are most proud of. That small group of local women has grown into a powerful community of over 400 families across Turkey who bring our designs to life. Instead of a single factory, we chose to support a network of talented artisans—mostly women—who craft our jewelry from their own homes. This provides them with flexible, sustainable income and empowers them to turn their traditional skills into beautiful art. The Third Generation: Taking Our Legacy to the World

I am Mustafa, the third generation to lead this journey. My grandfather started the collection, my father built it into a strong company, and my mission is to share it with the world.For years, we've operated in a traditional way, with warehouses filled with hundreds of thousands of unique beads and treasures—a lifetime of collection waiting to be photographed and shared. My'Beads is our promise to bring this incredible, chaotic, beautiful archive to you.Every week, we will unearth new items from our collection... forever.
